May 13, 1933
Born in the farm Bely Kolodez (USSR, now Bogucharsky district, Voronezh region of the Russian Federation). After school, he worked as a painter for artistic decoration at the Zhdanov plant "Azovstal".
1953
He entered the Faculty of Monumental Painting of the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now the Lviv National Academy of Arts).
1960
After graduating from the institute, he worked as a performing artist in the creative team of the muralist Litovchenko in Kiev.
1961
He moved to Minsk at the invitation of Gavriil Vashchenko, the founder of the department of monumental and decorative art of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts).
1963-1970
He taught painting and composition at the department of monumental and decorative art of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute in Minsk (BSAI).
At the same time, he was actively engaged in creativity and organization of tapestry production in the BSSR (now the Republic of Belarus).
1980
He was recognized as the Honored Art Worker of the BSSR .
1991
Received the title of People's Artist of the BSSR .
1994
He created the "Tapestry of the Century" , which was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest tapestry in the world.
November 11, 1997
He died and was buried in Minsk at the Eastern Cemetery.
