He took part in the Saxon campaign. In the rank of second lieutenant, he served as adjutant to General V. Krasinsky.

After the end of hostilities, he devoted himself entirely to art. He graduated from the cadet corps of the School of Artillery and Engineers of the Duchy of Warsaw.

Completed a series of paintings about the events of the Russian-Persian war and the Russian-Turkish war.

Trained in Rome.

The artist returned to Warsaw.
March 20th, 1875
He died near the Polish city of Siedlce in the estate of Boime.
