Born in the village of Turbanovo (RSFR, now a village in the Breitovsky district of the Yaroslavl region, Russian Federation).
1950-1953
He studied at the Minsk Art College .
1953
He entered the Theater and Art Institute in Minsk (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts). The well-known Belarusian painter and teacher Vitaly Tsvirko became his mentor and subsequently the head of the diploma.
1964-1971
He taught painting and composition at the Minsk Art College.
1968-1977
He was on the board of the Belarusian Union of Artists .
1971-1996
He taught at the Belarusian Academy of Arts, where he received the title of Associate Professor of the Department .
