Photo critic Olga Bubich and photographer Evgeniy Otsetsky talk about his project “Square of Changes,” dedicated to solidarity, self-organization and yard activism, one of the centers of which in 2020 was a children’s playground in Minsk. As part of the project, the author archives the history of the Belarusian protests of 2020-2021 and helps preserve these events in the collective memory of Belarusians, despite the persistent intentions of the authorities to “turn the page” and continue living as before.
