He was born in a peasant family in the village of Krivichy of the Zyabka village council.
The beginning of the 30s
Since childhood, he was in the thick of the folk creative process. During his school years, he drew a lot, he was lucky enough to observe the creative activity of Yazep Drozdovich in easel painting and carpet painting, and this contributed to the choice of his future craft.
A significant number of works are kept in the collection of the Zaslav historical and cultural museum-reserve.
The master of wall carpets lived for several years in the village of Bobruyshchyna of the Psuevsky village council, where Fedor Ivanovich's family bought a house. When the artist's wife died, Fedor Ivanovich lived in Glyboky in the winter, with his daughters' families, and in the spring, summer and autumn he came to the village of Babruyshchyna, painted sketches, mock-ups, tableaux, lived alone, personally cultivated the garden, grew potatoes.
