In the traditional value system of Belarusians, home is one of the key concepts, correlated with ideas about life, order, fate, family, and the human world as a whole. The project arose as a result of understanding the socio-cultural situation in Belarus.

The presentation of the work as an allusion to the traditional interior of housing in the Polesie region (southwest Belarus) arose as a result of understanding the socio-cultural situation in Belarus. It serves to touch not only the visual component of folk culture, but also sacred knowledge that our ancestors integrated into the attributes of home decoration, into everyday life, materializing the philosophy of creating a home, organizing space for life. The project reveals the matrix where the subject of folk culture ended up - the people, and not the culture itself. Tradition is a channel used to transmit vital information for society. The authoritarian regime folklorized it and blocked the modern, turning the naive and spiritual into a primitive, nominal model of being. But it is impossible to imitate authenticity and establish control over the spontaneity of identity.
