Author's concept:

In B. country a person has no right to speak.

People who speak their minds are arrested, tortured, and killed.

Almost everyone in this country knows what is going on.

Many have left, many have stayed.

During this time, we have learned all shades of fear, we have learned to anticipate it, we are learning to handle it.

It's complicated.

Everything is insecure.

Insecurity and fear have become our companions that we who remain are trying to live with.

In order to maintain objectivity, to see the lies and injustices, we as residents need to be able to speak.

Perhaps for the time being, this will be a special language. A language of art, understandable only to me/us. But it is important not to skip a single detail, not a single episode, not a single story.

The main thing now is for us, the inhabitants of this country, not to forget. Because we know, ignoring is an accomplice to violence.

For a year, I was fixating on injustice, I was afraid to keep quiet.
