When we enter the conversation about inclusion, we still feel like we are floundering in a chaos of awkward words, attached feelings and terms that today sound impossible. But the artist’s works are so bright and capacious that they shine through this confusion and vacuum. So there is a way.

We all need to learn to talk about inclusion and the lack of it, about people excluded from the “majority culture”, and authors excluded from artistic discourse. Speak openly and directly, reveal the stigma, silence and taboos that have long crept inside without asking us about it. It is necessary to gradually and consciously develop a relevant language, open and equal. It is important to illuminate everything that remains invisible and inaudible, and to look at this light without squinting. It is important to ask about what you don’t know, because it is this ignorance that creates fear, and fear that creates taboo.
