After two forced moves in two years, I settled in Berlin. Following the mental breakdown, my physical shell also began to disintegrate. Against the background of numerous difficulties and health problems, I unexpectedly needed a small operation on my anus. This was the beginning of my integration into the German bureaucracy.

From that point on, I was in a long battle with the insurance company to get it done. Meanwhile, the "problem" slowly and surely grew and eventually became a real catastrophic monster. At the height of my desperation, I had no choice but to send the insurance clerks pictures of my ass along with the ever-growing stack of documents they demanded. Instead of a simple medical procedure at the start, I needed major surgery under general anesthesia and spent almost a week in the hospital.

The work consists of 3,061 characters - the same number of characters in the emails sent to the insurance company - and reveals people's deep disappointment with the reality hidden behind the image of the welfare state created in recent decades, as well as behind the general facade of Germany's migration policy.
