A joint exhibition of the Good Deed Workshop for people with autism and the Zaslav Children's Art School, dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day, established by a resolution of the UN General Assembly and celebrated annually on April 2 since 2008.

The exhibition is conceived as a social project aimed at telling about such children, the peculiarities of their development, removing stigma from “other” children, who should not be afraid, but you just need to know about them and be able to interact with them, tell your children about it, parents, friends and acquaintances. Autism is widespread in all regions of the world, and failure to understand the characteristics of such people has significant negative consequences. This neurological disorder appears in early childhood and is independent of gender, race, or socioeconomic status.

With proper support, consideration of the needs and a friendly attitude of people facing this neurological disorder, it is possible to participate fully and productively in society. People with autism do not pose a danger to others. Moreover, some degree of autistic traits are present in most people living among us. With proper rehabilitation, some people with autism are able to lead independent lives and have family and friends. The main task of parents and teachers is to develop independence in children with autism and their subsequent integration into society. They have enormous creative and intellectual potential that we should not miss.
