1960

Two years after the creation of the club, in 1962, its members took part in the third All-Union exhibition of art photography "The Seven Years in Action" in Moscow, in 1964 - in the international salon of art photography of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain in London, in 1966 - in the Belarusian exhibition of artistic photography in Minsk, in 1970 - in the exhibition "Soviet artistic photography", organized by the Novosti press agency in the USA and in France, etc. The Minsk People's Photo Club organized legendary photography exhibitions in 1971, 1973, 1975 years (hereinafter the photograph was shown regularly). Thanks to the photo club in Minsk, exhibitions were shown that made a significant contribution to the development of Belarusian photography: “Ten Photographers of the World” (Leo Vrana, Austria; Pedro Luis Raota, Argentina; Istvan Toth, Hungary; Felix Aliaga, Spain; Renzo Cambii, Italy; Andrzej Krinitsky , Poland; Sever Barbu, Romania; Henry Schul, USA; Albert Bernhard, Germany; Kazuhiko Kondo, Japan; 1974), the famous Lithuanian photographer Antanas Sutkus (1985), masters of Russian and Soviet photography "15x10" (Maxim Dmitriev, Nikolai Andreev, Moses Nappelbaum, Alexander Rodchenko, Anatoly Garanin, Boris Ignatovich, Vitaly Butyrin, Vladimir Filonov, Anatoly Dudkin, Romualdas Rakauskas, Gunar Binde, Peeter Tooming, Pavel Kryvtsov, Svetlana Timofeeva, Alexander Macijauskas; 1989), Polish photographer Ryszard Karchmarsky (2007) and a number of others.Members of the club, especially Yu.S. Vasiliev, are working on the study of the history of Belarusian photography. In 1989, the club organized a demonstration in Minsk of an exhibition of Belarusian photography of the 19th-20th centuries “Photo from an old album”, in 2000 – an expedition to the places of life of Jan Bulgak, in 2001 – the International Plein Air “Belarusian way of Jan Bulgak” (Novogrudok, Korelichi, Mir, Nesvizh) and others. Yu.S. Vasiliev makes presentations on the history of Belarusian photography both in Belarus and abroad.

1960

The Minsk Photo Club was created at a general meeting of the city's amateur photographers, announced in the Znamya Yunosti newspaper. Vasily Kuprevich, academician, president of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR, was elected honorary chairman of the photo club. Isaak Soloveychik, one of the oldest photographers, became the artistic director of the amateur photography of the city, the inspirer of the movement. The material and technical base of the photo club "Minsk" from the first days until 1991 was the Minsk Regional Council of Trade Unions, in the premises of which at st. Kozlova, 2 conducted and conducts its activities created by the team.

1970

The club took a course on the development of the creative direction in the work of the authors. An engineer, and later a photojournalist, Evgeny Kozyulya, who fruitfully works in the field of artistic photography, was elected chairman of the board. Changes were made in the aesthetics of the exhibitions organized by the club.

At the same time, Y. Vasiliev and E. Kozyulya formulated the conceptual foundations of the inter-club exhibitions of art photography "Photography-71". “Photography-71” was considered as a creative work of multinational Soviet amateur photography, and at the level of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions it was decided to make this exhibition traditional with an announced frequency of first 2 years (“Photography-73”, “Photography-75”), and then 3 years (“Photography -78" and "Photography-81"). On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of photography, the Minsk Photo Club organized the last exhibition in the series, Photographics-89.

1978

Yuri Vasiliev was elected chairman of the photo club, and for the first time the functions of chairman and artistic director were combined.

1979

Photo club "Minsk" for fruitful and creative activity in the field of artistic photography was awarded the title of "People's Amateur Collective". By this time, several generations of photographers organically united in the club: N. Boytsov, V. Nekhaychik, E. Kozyulya, Yu. Vasiliev, V. Butra, M. Trenina, A. Dudkin, V. Lobko, M. Zhilinsky, A. Birilko , Ya. Metelitsa, A. Lisovsky, V. Short, S. Levih, I. Mogilyansky, and others.

1985

At the second "All-Union Review of Amateur Photographers" in Minsk, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Victory, the photo club "Minsk" becomes the winner of the review, having received a diploma of the 1st degree. Club members Yuri Vasiliev, Evgeny Kozyulya, Vladimir Parfyonok also became laureates.

1981–1986

The Photoclub took an active part in the creation of the Union of Photographers of Belarus. Valery Lobko, a member of the Minsk photo club, was elected Chairman of the Union. Due to the lack of material and technical base and any support from the state, the Union soon ceased its activities.

2002

Yu. Vasiliev, N. Evmenenko, Evgeniy Kozyulya, V. Sibrikov, V. Suglob, S. Kochergin represent the photoclub in various governing bodies.

2003

The Belarusian public association "Photoart" was created.

Currently, the photo club unites about 40 photographers, both amateur and professional photographers.

2004–2014

Evgeny Kozyulya was again the chairman of the club.
