The basic idea is to explore possible transformations of a flat square surface into three-dimensional shapes, particularly into six cubes. A cube has six sides. 6 x 6 = 36. This is why the work consists of 36 individual elements. These elements are joined together in order to form six transformable sections, which could be folded one by one into six different cubes. So the at square could be reshaped into a three-dimensional sculpture.
