Born on May 9, 1929 in the village of Prodvino, Bobruisk district.
When Ludwig was 11 years old, his family moved to Bobruisk. His father was a laborer, and his mother was a housewife (there were three other children in the family besides Ludwig).
In 1950, he graduated from the Minsk Art School (now the Educational Institution " Minsk State Art College named after A.K. Glebov "), the graphic department of the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute
Teachers: V. Tsvirko, A. Mozalev. (1960) (now the Educational Institution “ Belarusian State Academy of Arts”).
Studied under the honored artist P.K. Lyubomudrov.
From 1962 to 1967 he taught at the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute.
Participant of art exhibitions (1960).
Since 1967 member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
Chairman of the Art Fund of the BSSR (1968–1971).
He worked in the field of easel and book graphics, monumental painting.
He was buried in accordance with his will in his homeland in the village of Prodvino, Bobruisk district, on November 9, 2005.
