Born in Vitebsk (Russian Empire, today the Republic of Belarus). His mother taught him how to cut out paper, constantly cutting out the silhouettes of different animals while playing with children.

In the list of VKhPI graduates, Yudin's specialty is called "artist-constructivist" , which probably meant the applied design direction of their training.

Employee of the Formal-Theoretical Department of GINHUK . He led the laboratory of form, studied the laws of cubism. Engaged in the design of Kazimir Malevich's theory of the surplus element in art in the section of cubism.

He was a member of the group of pictorial-plastic realism . So in 1927-1934 in Leningrad artists called themselves - followers of Kazimir Malevich.

He was an assistant to Kazimir Malevich until the closure of the institute.

November 1941
Being at the forefront, Yudin received a "booking" from the Union of Artists, but refused to use it, considering it a betrayal of the soldiers of his platoon. The artist died in his first battle at the front in the defense of Leningrad.
