Ivan Trofimovich Gavris, artist, graphic artist, teacher, public figure. In 1919 he entered the Vitebsk Folk Art School. He studied the systems of Futurism, Cubism and Suprematism. He was a member of the creative committee "UNOVIS". Rector of the Vitebsk Artistic and Practical Institute.
