An artist whose priority direction of creativity was easel painting, especially the genre of landscape. He also worked in easel graphics.

Today, the master’s works are in the collections of the Belarusian Union of Artists, the National Art Museum of Belarus and other museums.

Born in the city of Lyubcha (Russian Empire, now Novogrudok district, Grodno region, Republic of Belarus).

He graduated from the Drawing School of the Imperial Association for the Promotion of Arts in Petrograd. He studied with Vladimir Nikolaevich Fedorovich. He worked as a teacher at working faculties, studios and schools in Minsk.

Since 1925

Took part in art exhibitions.

1933

Became a member of the Union of Soviet Artists of the BSSR.

1938

Became chairman of the board of the Union of Soviet Artists of the BSSR.

Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
