Independent researcher Elizaveta Kovtyak presents the results of the STATUS project workshop “Designing a Parallel Society”, which was conducted in Minsk by Swedish artists John Huntington and Lars Noweng. In response to problematic aspects of the activities of the Ministry of Culture and the KGB, as well as the broader problem of Belarusian official discourse, the workshop team invented the Ministry of Uncertainty - a space for training the ability to be active members of society and the opportunities to enjoy it.
