Born in the village of Staroe Selo (Gomel region, BSSR, today the Republic of Belarus).

Graduated from the Minsk Art College. Teachers: S.P. Katkov and A.A. Malishevsky.

She graduated from the monumental department of the Theater and Art Institute in Minsk (today the Belarusian State Academy of Arts). Teachers: G. Vashchenko and A. Kishchenko.

Membership in the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Litvinova Z.V. was awarded an honorary diploma of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, as well as a diploma of the First International Plein Air named after Marc Chagall in Vitebsk. She was also awarded the first prize at the All-Union Exhibition of Painting in Moscow, was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, holder of the Order of Merit in the Field of Literature and Art in France and the Order of Francysk Skaryna of the Republic of Belarus. To date, Litvinova's paintings are in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, in the Belarusian Museum of Modern Art, in the Polotsk Cultural and Historical Museum-Reserve, in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, in the museums of Riga, Novosibirsk, Arkhangelsk, Bishkek, Ufa and other cities, as well as private collections and municipal collections in Austria, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Holland, England, South Africa, Israel, USA and Canada.
