Commentary on the work of curator Ilona Dergach for the exhibition "When Forms Become Attitudes":

The presented installation is one of the focal points of Masha Maroz's solo exhibition "The Long Way Home," shown at the NCCA and closed by the artist herself after the events of August 9, 2020. In the title of the exhibition, the notion of "long" applies to space and time, which according to the laws of physics unfolds only forward. Hope remains that one can reach home only by walking through this time and space. The installation is complemented by an audio mantra, in which 150 forgotten original Belarusian names are heard... addressing the seeker to the questions of identity, memory, and as if coding to find the lost home as soon as possible.
