This installation was shown during the ASA open studios in Hamburg, Germany. It’s about the period of living in Hamburg. I came to Hamburg for half a year to study, with the idea that it was temporary and not worth unpacking. Then I stayed in bed most of the fall. I didn't like myself in a new place, in a new language, among unfamiliar people. My room in studio was a place for me to hide. This room became part of the exhibit, guests could find my belongings and my diaries about my time in Hamburg. Also a video sequence about walking through a dry foreign city I feel nothing for.
