Phenomenon in the Belarusian independent culture of the 90s. The practice-genre of "oral cinema" was invented by Dmitry Strotsev and other members of the Belarusian Climate group. Censorship and a shortage of contemporary cinema led artists to creative inventions: they began to hold actions, retelling the entire frame by frame of films that, for various reasons, could not be seen by other viewers.
