MAKEOUT invites you to the CIAHLICY* exhibition as part of the Queer Art Workshops project.

Within the framework of the workshops "Queer Art Workshops" (MAKEOUT) participants explored the muscular armor of the collective body and trained new muscle memory. This exhibition is the result of research, attempts to understand their body, including as part of the general collective body.

Over the course of several months, they learned various artistic practices, worked on creating art objects for the exhibition, and also reflected on the topic of how artistic expression/use of personal history can turn into a tool for art activism.

"What is it like when the spasm in the throat and jaws unclenches and a scream escapes? What is it like when a fist turns into a palm? What is it like when there is finally an opportunity to relax the face and maintain eye contact with the Other?"
