Vladimir Tsesler

1951

Artist, designer.

Since 1978, he worked together in a duet with Sergei Voichenko. The tandem gained international fame primarily in the field of posters (more than 30 awards at international competitions and biennials).

Today, Vladimir Tsesler is considered a leading designer in Belarus, where he enjoys the fame of an artist who is versatile in creating an artistic concept and technology corresponding to it in almost any field, from poster, which has been the author’s favorite for many years, to painting and industrial design. The sharpness of postmodern irony, correlated with context, culture and time, is his trademark.

The "Project of the Century. 12 of the 20th" by Vladimir Tsesler and Sergei Voichenko, in which the twelve most significant artists of the 20th century were presented in the form of eggs, became widely known.
