In the magazine "Fragments" No. 3-4, an article by Maxim Zhbankov "Culture of the Family" and "The Family of Culture" was published, which became a program among intellectuals. In his work Maxim describes the crisis of the Belarusian culture; with stamps and trends of mass culture. He writes: “Smetetse” is a set of pure magical masses, a palette of cultural creativity. The first book by Maxim Zhbankov “No style. Belcult between Woodstock and Dazhynki. This is a collection of articles and essays written between 2000 and 2010 in which he explores contemporary Belarusian culture. “No style”, according to Maxim Zhbankov, is an important characteristic of our modern culture: “No style” is, on the one hand, death to the canons, on the other hand, a real launching pad. Even now, before our eyes, contrary to what we think about them, new outlines of Belarusian culture are emerging: paradoxical, non-linear, far from our hopes and ideals. And it's wonderful!
