Born in Minsk (BSSR, today the Republic of Belarus).
Studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the BPI (1980–1985).
He was the first in Belarus to work with experimental video since 1986 and represented the country at many international festivals (Holland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Russia). Organizer of the First Belarusian Festival of Experimental Media Art "Projections" (Minsk, 2000).
He was engaged in documenting actions and creating a chronicle of the artistic life of the 1980s. He collected a large video archive about the life of Belarusian artists of that period (Gennady Khatskevich, Olga Sazykina, Lyudmila Rusova, Igor Kashkurevich, Alexei Zhdanov, etc.). Director of the film "Underground" (2000). He acted as the initiator and organizer of the display in Belarus of the advertising festivals "Night of the Ad-Eaters" (1998) and "Cannes Lions" (1999). He worked as the General Producer of the ONT TV channel, the General Director of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belarusian Video Center”.
Line producer of the feature film In the Fog (directed by Sergey Loznitsa, 2012), which won the Cannes Film Festival. Producer of the film "We are brothers".
