Instructions is the first thematic block of the #comfortable lady in everyday life project, the task of which is to make visible the forms of manifestation of inequality in various situations: professional, domestic, public and others. With the help of poster-style statistics, the project draws attention to the mechanisms of unequal distribution of social and economic benefits and privileges.
The infographic is based on official statistics on the unequal distribution of benefits and responsibilities of men and women in Belarusian society. The instructions are divided into 4 areas: home, child, education and work.
This ascetic visual well illustrates the language of numbers and shows that a woman who is "comfortable in everyday life" herself turns out to be terribly uncomfortable.
Subsequently, the collection was supplemented with two more infographics: statistics on domestic violence against women and statistics on domestic violence against children as arguments in favor of thinking about the need for a bill to combat domestic violence in Belarus.
