Author's comment:

An appeal to the cultural tradition of embroidery is a fixation of the female context in the political agenda of Belarus. The roots of the potato intertwine with the patriarchal ideology of the Belarusian state and the protest movement of 2020. An agricultural mythology emerges that Belarussian is born from the root potato and cultivated as a representative of the patient agrarian people. 

Women's groups gathered to create the four-meter embroidery canvas. Collective labor here is a general trance and psychotherapeutic effect.
