Studied with Natan Voronov at the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts).
1973-1976
He studied at the creative workshops of the USSR Academy of Arts in Baku under the guidance of Abdullayev.

Since that time he has been a permanent participant of republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.
1976
He received the degree of associate professor at the drawing department of the Belarusian Academy of Arts.
1978
He joined the Belarusian Union of Artists.
1990
The honorary title "Honored Artist of the BSSR" was awarded.
1994
Awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus for a series of paintings "Light and Shadows".
1995
Became a laureate of the UN mission in Belarus "Habitat-II".
2010
The honorary title "People's Artist of Belarus" was awarded.
