One of the most famous photojournalists in Belarus. He worked in documentary photography, most of his works are close to the style of Cartier-Bresson's photographs.

He worked as a photojournalist for the newspapers "Kaliyshchyk Saligorshchyny", "Chyrvonaya Zmena", "Narodnaya Gazeta".

In his works, he not only documented the upheavals of the era of perestroika and glasnost. He preserved the spirit of that time in them, collecting characters, destinies and stories in his photographs - stories of suffering, fear, independence, hope and the strength of new life.

Lived and worked in Minsk.

Born in the urban village of Gorodeya, near the city of Nesvizh, Minsk region (BSSR, now the Republic of Belarus).
