The exhibition Coalition presents the works of artists from Belarus, Poland and Ukraine, who critically reflect on the ideology of authoritarian and imperial regimes, military aggression, especially in the context of the situation in Ukraine and Belarus.
antiwarcoalition.art is an international platform presenting anti-war works by artists from all over the world. The platform was created by the Ambasada Kultury and artists from Belarus and Ukraine, who left their countries in 1994–2021 due to the political regime. As part of the antiwarcoalition.com project, selected films by Belarusian, Polish and Ukrainian authors will be presented. The idea of the platform aptly resonates with the solidarity character of the exhibition, which is additionally emphasized by the borrowing of the name.
The second part of the exhibition presents works by the artist/curator of DOMIE space (Martina Miller, Katarzyna Wojczak, Rafal Zharsky) and the KALEKTAR platform (Sergey Shabohin) and four Belarusian and Ukrainian artists invited by them: Katerina Lysovenko, Aleksey Lunev, Uladzimir Pozniak and Vlada Ralko.
This is the second exhibition of the Belarusian research platform KALEKTAR (works in Poznan) in cooperation with the DOMIE space. The first exhibition was held in the fall of 2021 and was dedicated to progressive learning practices.
The main goals of the project are to strengthen democratic movements and build a civil society through creative activities, as well as direct support for creative people from Belarus and Ukraine.
