The works of Lyudmila Rusova are in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the funds of the Belarusian Union of Artists, the Zimmerli Art Museum (New Jersey), in the municipality of Bonn, as well as private collections in Berlin, Boston, Warsaw, Vilnius, Gdansk, Minsk, Riga and Stockholm .

She was born in the village of Doschanoe, Arkhangelsk Region (USSR, today the Russian Federation).
1969–1973
She studied at the Minsk Art College. A. Glebov with Leonid Dubar and Algerd Malishevsky.
1974–1979
She studied at the department of monumental and decorative art of the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute with Gavriil Vashchenko and Vladimir Stelmashonok.

She was a member of the creative associations "Pluralis" and "Form" .
For 15 years she worked as an artist at the Borisov Combine of Decorative and Applied Arts .

A personal exhibition of the artist took place in the gallery "6th Line" in Minsk.
1998
The author's art book "Through and Through" was published.

She was a participant of the first four international performance festivals "Navinki" held in Minsk.
