Born in the urban village of Ust-Kamchatsk, Khabarovsk Territory (RSFSR, today the Russian Federation).
1964–1969
He studied at the People's Studio of Fine Arts in Bryansk with Viktor Vorobyov.
1970–1976
He studied at the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute at the department of easel painting with Anatoly Baranovsky, Khaim Livshits, Vyacheslav Tyuryn, May Dantsyg, Pyatr Krokhalev.
1976–1981
He taught at the Department of Drawing and Painting of the Faculty of Architecture of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute.
Since 1983
Member of the painting section of the Union of Artists of the BSSR (today the Belarusian Union of Artists).

Works on non-figurative compositions.
1997
He was awarded the medal of the Belarusian Union of Artists for services in the fine arts.

2006–2010
During this period, he gives the names "Composition" or "Improvisation" to his abstract works.
2013
He was awarded the Francysk Skorina medal (hereinafter the quote) "for his contribution to the development and enhancement of the spiritual and intellectual potential of the cultural heritage of the Belarusian people."
2015
He was awarded the Special Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus to cultural and art figures "For many years of creative activity and the creation of highly artistic paintings."
