Born in the village of Medvednya , Minsk region, into a peasant family (BSSR, today the Republic of Belarus).
1947–1952
Graduated from the Minsk Art College .
1952–1958
Graduated from the Moscow Art Institute named after Surikov . The diploma work "In the Belarusian swamps", which depicts the exit of partisans from the encirclement, was exhibited at the All-Union Art Exhibition and was positively noted by critics.
1958–1995
He taught at the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (Belarusian State Academy of Arts).
1985
Became a professor .
September 11, 1998
Died at the age of 66.
