Duet of Vladimir Tsesler and Sergei Voichenko (artists collaborated from 1978 to 2004, in Minsk, Belarus).

The artists began cooperation in 1978. The tandem gained international fame primarily in the field of posters (more than 30 awards at international competitions and biennials).

Their “Project of the Century. 12 of the XX", in which the twelve most significant artists of the XX century were presented in the form of eggs. The project was exhibited at the Pushkin Museum im. Pushkin in Moscow (1999 - 2000), at the Ludwig Museum at the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg (2000), at the Venice Biennale (2005).

The duo's activities are important from an interdisciplinary point of view: both artists are also designers, and their posters are in many international museum collections.

Created for the millennium, the project arose in line with the general trend of summing up, ratings and revisions at the turn of the millennium, and can serve as an example of a large wave in the popular culture of the 90s to blur the boundaries between design, art and kitsch.

The "Project of the Century" is 12 sculptural "portraits" representing the images of cultural figures chosen by the authors of the project as the most important artists of the 20th century. All twelve sculptural objects are embodied in the universal form of an egg, taken as a single module. Modification of the module: size, deformation, material, execution technique - in each individual work, it emphasizes the key creative concept of each depicted person.

The artists continued to collaborate until the death of Sergei Voichenko in 2004.
