Received the prize of the 40th International Biennale of Illustration "The Golden Pen of Belgrade" for the book "Princess in the Underworld".

Received the "Golden Apple" prize at the international biennale "BIB'2001" for illustrations for the book "Princess in the Underworld".

The artist about his practice:
"The task of an illustrator is to create an image. Not to describe, not to repeat the text with a drawing, but to add some kind of reality. Then the book itself will turn out as a whole work, and the illustration in it as a special kind of art. This is not a picture that can be seen on wall in a frame. Here you need to think in turns, and all the details should appear at a distance of 30-50 cm from the eyes when a person holds a book. "
