Born in Minsk (BSSR, today the Republic of Belarus).

From 1954 to 1964 he studied at an art studio in Grodno.

In 1964 he entered the Minsk Art College (did not finish).

From 1967 to 1972 he studied at the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute in the department of monumental and decorative art (diploma: sketch of the painting "Return" for the House of Veterans, diploma supervisor - Gavriil Vashchenko).

From 1972 he participated in the underground unofficial art of Minsk, Leningrad and Moscow.

From 1987 to 1989 - a member of the art association "Form" .

Since 1989 he emigrated to Poland (Warsaw), later moved to France (Paris). Since 1990 lives in England (London), teaches drawing and painting.
