VTsCA is an open space created for the development of contemporary art of various directions. Museum institution on the basis of the exhibition hall of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
The VTsSI collection includes paintings, graphics, sculpture, photography by contemporary authors representing the latest trends in the development of art.
Within the framework of the museum "Vitebsk Center for Contemporary Art" there is a museum of the history of the Vitebsk Folk Art School. The exposition is based on 27 stands, which present the stages of the history of the school and the Vitebsk periods of the life of M. Dobuzhinsky, M. Chagall, K. Malevich, L. Lissitzky, V. Ermolaeva, N. Kogan, D. Yakerson and others. One of the most significant is a collection of creative works of artists based on the results of the plein air "Malevich. UNOVIS. Modernity".
