Author's comment:

The work reveals the areas where corporeal and affective experience is captured by the narrative of late capitalism, nationalism and biopolitics. In those women are subjected either as mothers / wives, i.e. as a tool of reproduction and service of the population; or as a sensual and aestheticized corporality, addressed to the other and meant for his pleasure. Both of these configurations are claimed to be apolitical.

The installation suggests an intent gaze into the production mechanisms of romantic and sexual desire and of the gender order, which exists in contemporary (Belarusian) culture, balancing between their deconstruction and fascination.
