Born in the village of Nagorodovichi, Grodno Governorate, Russian Empire (now Grodno Region, Republic of Belarus).
He received his primary education at the PR school in Shchuchin.
1826
He entered Vilnius University at the Faculty of Literature, at the same time took painting lessons from Jan Rustem.
November 1830
He participated in the Polish uprising, after the defeat of which he was deprived of his estate and forced to emigrate to Prussia.
1837
After the amnesty of the tsarist government , he returned to Vilna. He opened an art workshop, which later became an art school.
1847
Commissioned by Count E. Tyszkiewicz , he created a series of paintings about Lithuanian castles.
1850-1854
Designed performances at the Vilnius City Theatre.
1855-1858
He lived in the village of Bratsyanka near Novogrudok.
February 22, 1862
Died in Vilna (Lithuania).
