Born in the village of Oreshki , Vitebsk region (BSSR, today the urban village of Orekhovsk, Republic of Belarus).
1960
He entered the art and graphic faculty of the Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute .
1965
He graduated from the institute and worked as a teacher in a village school.
1966
Moved to Minsk .
1966–1968
He taught at school number 24 and at the Minsk Pedagogical College.
1968
He entered the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute in the department of easel painting . There, his teachers were such recognized masters as Chaim Livshits, Natan Voronov, Peter Krokhalev. Mai Danzig supervised the graduation work of the young artist.
1974
Graduated from the Institute. He began to take an active part in exhibitions .
1984
Joined the Union of Artists of the USSR .
1990
He became a member of the "Pursuit" group, created in the same year under the Belarusian Union of Artists.
1974–2012
He taught at the Republican boarding school of music and fine arts named after Akhremchik (now "Gymnasium-College of Arts named after Akhremchik" DUA). Under his leadership, the art department of the school published the newspaper "Spadchyna", which told about the most significant events and famous people of Belarusian history.
November 3, 2013
Died in Minsk . He was buried in the cemetery of the urban settlement of Orekhovsk, Vitebsk region.
