Olga Sazykina

1955

Artist, curator, teacher.

Olga Sazykina's work is the result of the convergence of modern and traditional media: painting, graphics, glass, video, objects and installations. The key material in the creation of her works is paper, which the artist usually makes herself. Paper, in all its forms, is for the artist not only a sculptural and material, but also a conceptual basis for her works, where the text logically continues the plastic. The artist works with the theme of communication and includes texts in many of her works.
